Open to all Primary, Secondary and Special schools — public and private — across Trinidad and Tobago. Register online, then deliver your artwork to any of our three drop-off points.

How to enter

Three steps, in order. Registration must be completed before artwork is delivered.

Step 01

Create the artwork

Interpret the theme — Watch Me Paint the Colours of My Culture! — in any 2D medium. Students must do the work themselves.

Step 02

Register online

Complete the online registration form before delivering the piece, and attach the printed form to the back of the artwork.

Deliver by Friday 09 October 2026

Label the artwork exactly as instructed below and drop it off at any of the three collection points.

Competition rules

  • 01The competition is open to all Primary, Secondary and Special (Public and Private) Schools in Trinidad and Tobago.
  • 02Entries are limited to one per school for Primary and Special schools, and one per school per category in the Junior category (Forms 1–3) and Senior Secondary category (Forms 4–6).
  • 03Art pieces submitted must be two (2) dimensional in nature to facilitate placement on the wall.
  • 04The size of the artwork submitted should not be smaller than 8½″ × 11″.
  • 05Artwork of the selected finalists will become the property of PowerGen. All other submissions will be returned to the entrants.
  • 06Honesty and integrity are expected of all participants — students are expected to do the artwork themselves. Failure to comply will result in automatic disqualification.
  • 07There will be four (4) categories of judging: Primary, Secondary (Junior and Senior) and Special Schools.
  • 08The Judges’ decision is final.

Before you drop off, check that…

  • the online registration has been submitted
  • the printed registration form is attached to the back of the artwork
  • the piece is 2D and at least 8½″ × 11″
  • entry limits per school and category have been observed
